Picked up my suppressor this weekend. No issues. Hope the can works well on my Tikka.

As a side note, I now have two certified copies of the form 4. The guy says the BATF agent he is in contact with is trying to get another stamp for me. I wonder if the form 4 was mangled or lost in the mail by the dealer some how. Very strange, but I’m certain I’m not the first person to need a certified copy of a form 4.

Is this done at the dealer or is this the what the FBI is doing prior to giving the ATF the "go ahead" to approve or deny the form?
Are the above bolded the same thing? If not, when would each be done?

NFA / FBI check are the same, they are not done by the dealer. They are done by NFA branch when the seller submits Form 4s and fingerprint card. When completed the approved Form 4 is sent to the seller.

There is also a section on the 4473 that says something to the effect "No NICS check was needed as only NFA weapons were transferred."
