I could have bought 2 from a buddy for 12k...with the Colt 9mm sub guns they were currently installed in.

I couldnt put 7k, let alone 12k into anything at that time, even though I knew they were a good investment. The 7k was sort of do-able although a stretch(i had 4k cash from an inheritance and I know Grandma would have wanted me to buy machine guns), the 12k was a no go.

I dont know about best price, but you can buy zmags from Lage and shockwave directly.
Lage also sells zytel mag feelip steel inserts for $5 i plan in trying out.

Inwas asking about goal because Lage doesnt make everything for each varient. The K is unique to the m11/9. The max31 k is unique to the m11a1 iirc.

I think people with m11/9 are holding onto them right now, not selling. Lage and others are making very interesting upgrades and preferentially for the m11/9. People aren’t selling because they don’t need to sell and don’t sell any to sell too low. It’s just an ebb and flow of the market. At times in the past, it was all m11/9 for sale with very few m10. I sold my m11/9 in 2012 for $3450, which is exactly what I had in it. The market was very soft on the m11/9 when I sold. I was moving and wanted a SIG 553 more than the M11/9 (had mp5 and Uzi, so m11/9 sat unused). And I overpaid for the 553 ($3900). I wish I’d kept the m11/9.
