BCM gas key bolt failure
This happened on a factory 16” BCM mid length upper, obviously a BCM BCG as well. The rifle belongs to a co-worker. He said the last time he shot it it was running fine, and then this happened out of the blue. It looks like the front bolt possibly failed first, then the rear bolt since it appears to be slightly bent. The upper has less than 1000 rounds through it. Anyone here ever experience a failure like this? Also I’m curious if BCM would consider this a factory defect.
