200 more rounds of ball for a frustrating total of ...4999 (again, it is more than that, but that's all I have written down.)

I ran it through 21 and 30 foot el prez drills on my 5 inch plates. Then I did walkback drills all the way to 40 yards (where I run out of space). It's an amazing piece and just runs and runs. Although I am not a fan of the sight profile, it is conducive to accurate distance shots.

You know, the older I get, the more I drift towards the classics. I am sure some of it is nostalgia, but to some degree these weapons really haven't been superseded. The 870 is an incredible home defense weapon, the 1911 is a top-drawer gunfighting pistol, and the .38 is about as handy a gun as can be found.

Of course, I still have my ARs, and my Beretta (although I don't have any plastic guns) but I just find myself shooting these more and more often.
