    Brownells Gen. II 1911 Magazines?

Thinking about ordering about 20 new magazines to replace some tired ones. Has anyone tried these new magazines?

I've had good luck with their AR15 magazines, their AR10 magazines stunk...a lot.

I would rather have 5 or 10 new magazines of very well-known quality than take a chance.

WC ETM (whichever version you like)
    Tripp Research (my go to)
    Etc

That's kind of why I'm asking before I buy them......If they arent any good, I'll buy something else.

The Brownells mags now look just like Mecgars. Brownells use to have mags that looked just like my Metalform pros but in black. They seem to have changed. David

If they are Mec-Gars, I have had perfect performance from Mec-Gar in my 1911 10mm.

But I bought Wilson ETM to replace those awful $5 gunshow 1911 45ACP mags that fell apart on me.

I think I'll try a few first. I seem to think Ned mentioned they were good to go and as long as I buy from Brownells they're warranted for life anyway....If they crap out I'll return them.

If your worn out mags are just the springs.....maybe a try with the Tripp spring kit is worth it.
