    PTG bolts for R700

Looking at ordering a PTG bolt for the m16 style extractor and 1 piece body vs the soldered on handle.... Is it worth the replacement if not re barreling for a while?

I came across a Remington 700 SA awhile back missing the bolt. Guy sold it to me fo $100. I sold the .22-250 barrel for $60 and the stock for $120, bottom metal for $60.

I bought a Magpul stock and AI mag kit, a take off 5r barrel and a PTG bolt exactly as you describe.

Local gunsmith owed me a favor so I had him true the action, barrel it up and add a heavy Badger lug, bedded to the stock. Gun shoots about 3/4 MOA with 168 match kings and Varget.

Not bad for a rifle I have a couple hundred bucks in. Big fan of their bolts, take awhile to get but worth it.
The truth can only offend those who live a lie.
