Bergara Chasis Bolt Gun in 6.5 creed

Pappabear got his 6.5 creed bergara and we got to run it out on Sunday. Straight out of the gate shot a nice little group of 3 to start the zeroing process. 140 gr S&B ammo (budget load) shot great all day long.

Here's some pics... we'll filling the details as we get more time on the gun....

The model is the Bergara Premier LRP.

This ammo is the cheapest stuff I could find, and it stacked a half inch group. The gun cycles smooth and shoots soft, not much to dislike. When I sighted in the Hornady ELD match ammo, if I clicked one click up or left, the bullet hit one click as directed. This gun is a laser, but we will shoot more groups with more ammo to confirm accuracy with several loads.

    Outstanding.

Didn’t know Bergara was making a chassis gun. What is barrel length?
That looks to be a fun one.
Did you get a load put together with 4350?

We're shooting Pappabear's factory ammo to start with. I'll be getting back to loading ammo for this gun though.

Awesome. I just dropped my 6.5 Creed into a Magpul 700 Pro (my first chassis). 140 gr Nolser RDF’s have proven to be consistently very accurate for me with H4350 and Lapua brass.

I have the same rifle and I love it. If I do my part shooting the hornady American stuff it can group half inch groups.

Is that the American Gunner cheap tuff? Half inch is impressive regardless, but with cheap ammo, even more so.

It is. Maybe a tad higher than the S&B iirc. I just took my 6.5CM out for a test drive last week with the Hornady 140gr. AG ammo and put 5 shots within 3/4” (4 of them touching) without much effort. Shot them in rapid succession. 140gr ELD-M was just as good too.

My rig is also a chassis gun. Tikka CTR barreled action dropped into a MDT LSS XL Gen2 chassis.

ETA: I went with the American Gunner stuff because I had read about some pressure issues with S&B. If it runs good, then you’re fine, but I didn’t wanna chance it. Just a heads up.
