Guardian AR1000 plates vs Spartan Ceramic

Saw these while browsing through High Com

    https://highcomarmor.com/collections...nt=31253128708

Looking at a 10×12 plate with a shooters cut being under 6lbs with rhino lining.

    Spartan offers this: https://www.spartanarmorsystems.com/...or-set-of-two/

Neither is multi curve, but it would seem that finding a multi-curve plate at a similar price point and at ~6lb. Any reason to avoid either one of these options? Any reason to pick one over the other?

It appears the steel ones aren’t rated to stop M193. That would be a no go for me. Also, I may be wrong, but my understanding of the AR steels is the harder they are the more likely they are to crack when being hit by a round. The harder AR’s also allow them to use a thinner plate, so that’s where the weight reduction comes from.

You can get High Com's 4SAS7 ceramic level 4's for nearly the same price as their steel. That's the place I went with.
