A friend bought a Glock at glockstore - 34 gen 5 MOS (AS).
What does the “AS” mean? It was not mentioned in description.
Edit- also, what sights come on these? They dont look like normal glock plastic sights, based on the pics.

Adjustable Sight likely.
AQ planned for years and sent their A team to carry out the attacks, and on Flight 93 they were thwarted by a pick-up team made up of United Frequent Fliers. Many people look at 9/11 and wonder how we can stop an enemy like that. I look at FL93 and wonder, "How can we lose?". -- FromMyColdDeadHand
Is it overhanging the back of the slide? One of my friends was talking about seeing a MOS with adjustable rear like that.
They kept putting these on in to the 2nd generation and what I initially thought he was referring to till he said they were the standard windage and elegation rears. Can't recall if the early ones were screw adjustable for windage or elevation. Whichever it was, they didn't do it long before snapping off.
On a 10mm, but this is what he was talking about.

GT Distributors has a G34 Gen 5 AS, so they are coming from the factory like this...but it has fixed sights.
Does AS stand for “ambidextrous stop”?

Gen5
Yes it overhangs
Glockstore
They have regular and AS. The regular looks like the slide is cut out on top, this is not.
