I have owned my AT rifles for a few years now. The platform is excellent, I have the 308 and 6.5 barrels. Changing the barrels out and no major change to zero is a big plus. Then the durability is second to none. Enjoy your rifle go out and shoot.

Took the AT back out to the range today to get some chrono numbers and to get a better 100 yard zero. Ended up shooting the best group I've ever shot.

No dude is going to get shot in the chest at 300 yards and look down and say "What is that, a 3 MOA group?"
Great shooting. Robert Gradous spins up some great barrels. I put him in the top 5-7 in the country. Congrats on the rifle. Crazy how good these guns shoot.
If anyone is looking to get into an AXMC there are some crazy deals now that the new AXSR is coming out. The AXMCs are going new for $6750 at Mile High and EO.

Whoa! Looks pretty good to me!
Good night Chesty...wherever you are.
Very jealous. I've been drooling over AIs since the original Counter Strike. One day.
I am part of that power which eternally wills evil, and eternally works good.
I picked up my AI used from Mile High about 6 years ago and it's one of the last rifles I'd part with. It's a frickin laser beam that you can rely on.
That is some excellent shooting C-grunt!
I had a little steel therapy over the weekend and decided to see what I could do with my AI (AT in 6.5CM w/ 24" bbl). We set up steel at 600 (12" gong), 800 (IPSC torso 12"x24") and 1000 (2'x2' plate). Weather was crappy and the ground was so waterlogged the golf cart was leaving ruts. We shot from a metal table and under a pop up tent. Between bouts of rain we would head out and shoot. I only have 120 rounds through my rifle so far and have a lot to learn. I am loving the journey.
My best was achieved using Hornady 140gr ELDs. My dope at 850 feet elevation was 9 MILs up and hold .5 to .7 MILs right, depending on the wind.
Here is out shooting position and an unmagnified view of the range

My best 6 shot group for our limited shooting (4 dark impacts above and 2 below the measuring tape)

Up here at 1300 feet with temps in the high 60s my dope at 1k is 7.8 mils.
We were at 14 mils to the target at 1380 yards.
My main issue right now is the Hornady 140 ELD-M factory ammo. It shoots very accurate in my barrel but has a large deviation in muzzle velocity. The last group I tested showed a max variation of 53 FPS between 5 rounds. Out at 1400 yards it starts causing like half a mil or more of vertical stringing with the shots. Im almost through my factory ammo and recently bought dies, powder, and bullets to start reloading for 6.5 Creedmoor.
