What year was the AUG first produced? 1977. What year was the AR first produced? 1956. So basically keeping my AUG's and dumping my AR's. It will likely take me a few years but I'll eventually have a very small, focused, modernized collection- which is my goal.

Why? Unless it is to fund other firearms, that doesn't sound like something you want to do. From everything I have read it sounds like you like your older design firearms?
