With the additional material, our brass is heavier than most other manufacturers brass and therefore will require lower charge weights to achieve the same pressures and velocities due to the reduced volume inside the brass. We recommend using a reputable load data source and working up from their recommended minimum starting loads. Failure to reduce charge weights established using other manufacturers brass will likely result in higher pressures and velocities while using ADG 6.5 Creedmoor brass and may result in unsafe pressure levels.”
I was aware of that. I used lower charge weights than I had previously used with federal brass. I saw pressure earlier but with lower velocities over my magnetospeed than I had with federal brass. At 41.6 gr h4350 when I blew a primer I was only getting 2730 fps. I'm going to verify all my measurements and start fresh.

I’m running 40.2gr of H4350 with 139-140gr bullets this is out of a AR platform Krieger barrel here are some other 140gr loads for that gun.

    H4831SC 42.5gr
    Superformance 44.6gr.
    Reloader 17 40.3gr

My in-law uses 45.3gr of Superformance in a RPR.

Some of these loads are above book proceed with caution.

I see that we're actually loading 143 grain ELD-X bullets. Pappabear was thinking of the round we carried in NAM.... 6.5 NAM Creedmore Ackley Improved. We developed that with 140s.

Mark loaded the 143's with 41.0 grains, we got 2730 fps and it shot sub Moa. He only loaded 10 rounds so not a lot of groups but it crushed the Hornady 140 factory load at 1300 yard by a full mil. More data to follow.

rereading this thread. It just goes to show you got a hotter lot of powder than most. 41.6 perfect for one , too hot for another. 41 showed we were tracking with gaijin, he used .6 more and got another 30fps. Makes sense.

So what speeds were you getting with the different powers, and charge weights?

I will be looking to develop over the winter a load to shoot out of 16.5" barreled bolt gun. This will be strictly a PA Deer rifle with shots not longer the 300-350 yards. Most shots taken are 75-150 yards.
