Finally the M5 they should have released at the same time last year. I may toy around with the idea of getting one of these finally. I never liked the high battery compartments.

I'm not sure, but the bottom appears to be situated higher than the normal M5 to no doubt to have stand-off for the lower battery compartment.
If so, I wonder if this will cause problems with aftermarket mounts and mount heights.
(seeing as how all the cool kids are running them way up 2+" in the air...I doubt some will care)

The M-5S is not compatible with micro mounts like the M-5 is. There is a different footprint required due to the battery compartment placement.

Yep waiting for Spuhr to come out with the M5s mount which I guess they will announce at IWA...
