There are keymod slots on the bottom to attached a pic rail and then you could mount a x300 from there.

It gets hot very fast and the mirage is pretty bad. It would be a good bedside gun for HD.

I won one and have not put in the paperwork yet. Mine had to go back to SiCo as it was a jamomatic (my SOT is also a range). Upon its return it runs like a top with any ammo I put through it. I have asked my SOT to sell it used if they can find a buyer if that tells you what I think.

Are you referring to just the wait or is something else happening? I e-mailed them a few weeks ago and was told that a few freebies have shipped but most were expected to ship Feb/March 19, which is probably delayed a month due to the shutdown, I imagine.

For the most part, the wait...and lack of communication.

(As a data point, my 4 months was up in Oct) It went from “up to four months”, to “minimum of four months”, to this email a buddy of mine got earlier this week:

Our apologies for the delay. Our production department has had to re-evaluate the production schedule to accommodate the increase in free suppressors over projections.

We started shipping in October. We will continue to ship as many as possible every month until complete. We expect to send large shipments starting this month and February. We hope to have all suppressors shipped by the end of June. However, with the government shutdown, we are not sure how long it will take them to get through the back ordered forms.

    Very Respectfully,

Now, I did get mine back in October, but that in and of itself was a miracle. My dealer received several dozen cans and a list of who they belonged to. The problem is the list had email address and phone numbers, but no names IIRC. And almost all of them were spread around the country...not our area code. He called SiCo and they wanted him to send them all back. He convinced hem to update their records instead and he’d keep the ones that would fill his customers orders. My name was nowhere on the list, and when he called to check they said they had no record of mine...even though I had 3 (maybe 4) different email confirmations. Turns out the list didn’t match what was in the box, my freebie and one of his other customers cans were in the box, and they fixed all the records. He still doesn’t have the rest of his customers’ cans...but mine is pending as of sometime back in early to mid November.

All that is one shipment to one dealer. And all the cans he should’ve gotten the first time may have gone somewhere else? So the delay and lack of comms is one issue...but the logistics aren’t even working as they should.

So it sounds like the people replying to the emails aren't even on the same page. It would be nice if they would take a minute, make a comprehensive list, and let everyone know where they stand. I understand the desire to send all of the cans to each dealer at once to save on shipping. Making a list based on that, they could at least come up with a better estimate than "June." My dealer has had no communication from SiCo on this, and as far as he knows I'm the only person that has a can coming to him from this promo.

Tells me what I need to know. Thank you.

For me it will be a novelty firearm that might do nightstand duty. I'll probably install a RDS as well so it will be a large package firearm. It's just an interesting design.

As was mentioned earlier in the thread, that deal is over. It was last summer. CA had the details here: https://www.capitolarmory.com/silenc...koff-promotion

That offer was available last summer, basically you spent so much on SiCo products and you were given a choice of can for free, depending on the amount you spent. Some retailers put the Maxim at $801, which was the amount needed to get a free .45 can. It was a screaming deal, seeing as how you were in it for ~$1200 including stamps + transfer fees for a maxim 9 and .45 can, which is $300 less than MSRP for just the Maxim alone, before any stamps, hence, 2-for-1, essentially. That offer is no longer available, for better or worse.

Looks like it could be a nice "Don't wake the baby gun". Jorge at Capitol Armory shot this video when we were seeing how the Maxim 9 would fit this safe/holster configuration. It fit perfectly!

The holster is a fully adjustable extra long modular design that will work with most handguns that will fit inside this size safe. We shot this using the thumb-break, but I probably would not use it. The gun will stay put without it for most applications.
