    147 gr, 158 gr vs 165 gr 9 mm : Decibels

Out of a pistol, the sound of a 147 and 158 grain are pretty close. I don’t have a sound meter that is reliable to measure it.

Out of a 10” barrel, there is a noticeable difference in sound between the two ammunition that I have.

I was just wondering how much sound difference in decibels are these from a 10” barrel from one load to the other.

Have any of you more sophisticated shooters tested it?

Have you chrono'd the 147 out of that 10"? What ammo is it? Is it supersonic from the longer barrel...?
