MP5's are retro now I guess right? Mine have the ambi lowers on them but my sear pack is in an ambi burst and I'm left handed.

Old school g3k from the 80s.

A colt 6520 that was a police trade in as well as a 727 from the 80s.

Smith and Wesson 1006 guns in best mm.

M10/45 before I had it converted to take normal m10 parts and refinished.

Here are a couple worth showing off I guess! The Mauser is one my Father-In-Laws Brother brought back from Europe! Its a 41/42 I believe, this is a pic from last Summer so have to check the safe to be sure. Anyways beautiful rifle and in excellent shape, don't know the full story behind it but my Father-In-Law gave it to me 30+ years ago and I never did anything with it till a couple years ago,had it checked out and its GTG so I shoot it a couple times a year for old times sake,,great rifle !

Here is a Springfield M1 from 1955, built a year after I was born, so yea, its Old, LOL It is 100% Correct, dam beautiful rifle and shoots very good! This is one of my most prized M1 rifles.
The last one is a Springfield M1 from 1942, not 100% correct or original but close, most parts are correct but it does have a commercial Criterion BBL on it, everything else is GI. Although the stock is a Boyds, someday I'll get the correct one! I have a couple others I'll drag out sometime,I have a nice Smith Corona 1903A3 & a couple other nice M1s,but this should do for now !

1985 date code SIG P226. Kiel proof house, Eagle N (Nitro proof) definitive proof mark.

This is a very early SIG and was purchased after reading about it's performance during the XM9 trials in 1984.

Wow, legit bring back with no duffel bag cut. Might I suggest getting all the pertinent details written down, signed and notarized, especially if your FIL brother is still with us. That kind of provenance as well as any official bring back papers can literally double the value of the rifle. Those who you pass it on to will be more likely to appreciate and take care of it, if it comes with documentation as a valuable family heirloom that a heroic relative brought back from the war.

Thank you... HK via Instagram advised I don’t shoot anything other than 22LR through it even if the buffer looks good.

Just realized my W. German P226 has that stamp on it as well. Admittedly, I know very little about these pistols and tried to sell it but had no takers... it’ll just stay in my collection now. I contacted Lazy Wolf guns to have it refinished so let’s see how that goes.
