    Mossberg Tactical Cruiser?

Does anyone know anything about these?

    A few questions:

Is the bbl 18" with a permanently attached stand off device? Or, is it 18" + the stand off device?

How is quality? Is it more of a 590A1 or a 500? Is it really up to hard service as a breaching tool or just tacti-cool toy?

    Thanks.

I have had my 500 cruiser for about 4 years an I love it's a real workhorse! I have played hard with it! So I would say its good for hard service.. It knocked my wife's teeth out one day so I put a Blackhawk m4 stock+flashlight now it's my go 2 home defense tool! So IMHO it work run with the best shotguns out there!

The barrels are 18". The stand offs are manufactured as an intergral portion of the barrels when they are made (one piece). They use 5+1 590A1 style Mag tubes and barrel lug/mag cap, with the plastic 500 trigger pack and safety.

The NYPD ESU was one of the first users as a breaching shotgun. A shorter 16" version is in use by select SOF units.
