Why no Armalite love here? I have many thousand rounds through my AR103GN18 and love it. Full review here: https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...lite-AR103GN18

So you’re saying SR25s will drop in price?

Ok, I gotta sell some stuff.

Feelling like I should say in an overly dramatic voice: "this is a game changer"

Defender AR-15 complete lowers used to be my secret best value, hopefully this ushers in the same for LMT AR-10s

Hopefully buying complete rifles and lowers from LMT directly becomes a permanent option.

    I would say SR-25/P-mag compatability.

Did you note that the AR-10 model he suggested is the "A" model lower that has the SR-25/PMAG style mag-well? The one you are referring to is the old "B" model lower. The vast majority they make today are the "A" model.

They are a great cheaper option to the LMT's, SR-25's, etc

Ok, I’ll go further...... Maybe because everything about the Armalite platform is less common than the LR308 and SR-25 platform and “B” model lowers don’t accept p-mags. All LR308 & SR -25 pattern lowers accept pmags. More rail options are available for the DPMS high receivers. Armalite has a less common rifle gas tube length. What else am I forgetting?

While there are not quite as many options for rails with the Armalite pattern, there are still many... Samson, Odin Works, Midwest Industries, etc.

Also is it appropriate to say something about a system being less compatible with aftermarket accessories, and then suggest a completely proprietary weapon system? No doubt that MWS is a good deal, but comparing that specific AR-10 (really more of a sporting game gun than a duty rifle) to a base MWS is not really apples to apples. What would be a similar configuration is a DEF-10 with a free float handguard, which is more in the $1100 range.

Armalite BCG's also come with a small-aperture firing pin that tolerates high pressures better, and ship with the AR-10/A5 length receiver extension and buffer which works much better than the short system and standard CAR receiver extension other large frame AR's ship with.

I have no skin in this game and don't care what the OP buys, but the options should be represented appropriately.
