    Gun Room storage help

I'm building a gun room and I need ideas for mounting weapons on the wall. The room will be 6' x 12' and I'd like to cover most of 3 walls. I like the StoreIt system except I can't stomach the cost. I don't care for peg board. I'd like steel as it would provide an addition barrier.

    Ideas?

Yes, I did a search but not finding a solution I like.

Have you checked out Slatwall? I don't think any decent solution is going to be cheap.

Yes, looking into slatwall now. Not really what I want but I need to investigate it more.
Agreed, looks like it will be pricey. Also thinking about ways I can make something. Sheets of 14ga attached to wall I figure out options to hang stuff on it. I can weld, so that's an option. Or magnets???? I have 100 and 200 pound magnets that would have no issue hold a firearm.

I will look at Gallow Tech, they appear to be cheaper than SecureIt. Anyone have experience with either of these systems?

You might research tool storage. Looks like some are not peg board in nature. If you get lucky it could result in a cost difference similar to Gun Scrubber vs. brake cleaner.

I think I've settled on Gallow Tech.

Thanks for the feedback on this.

If I lived in Illinois I think I'd consider PVC as the preferred storage method.......
