Hi all,
Moving to an SBS and this one won't fit due to Mossberg using different tube lengths on them. This will work on any of the 500/590/590A1 models with 18.5 or 20 inch barrels, but not the SBS or Shockwave versions. Potential buyers should do their homework if they want to mount this to some longer, "hunting" style 500/590 to make sure it will fit.
Bought this new back when I first got my shotgun in 2009. Great shape. Shotgun has seen maybe 100 rounds through it with this mounted (I removed it for a couple of shotgun classes and used a Hogue forend instead....a little easier on the hands!). A couple of minor dings from the safe, lens is crystal clear. LED light. Not sure of lumens, probably around 200 or so (?). Still works great. Original box/instructions/etc. included.
These models have since been replaced by Surefire with newer models (that I think are way uglier, though I'm sure they are of higher lumen capability). This one can be upgraded with a Malkoff head up to around 600 lumens or so for around $100 from what I have seen on the Malkoff website.
