    It's odd that it uses an AK style magazine, but the rifle has a magazine well. I bet if they can convert it to use STANAG magazines, Springfield will bring it in.

    Springfield would have to make 922(r) parts, get HS to produce a non-ban importable version, and I'm not sure Springfield has any interest in spending that kind of money on a gun that will probably have very little market penetration and will likely cannibalize sales of their AR-15s - in addition to having sales of the more expensive Croatian gun cannibalized by their AR-15s.

    Wow Larry has lost 50-60 lbs, did you see the magazine floating around in the well on slo motion?
    Those targets would banned in the diverse USA.

    If they use an US magazine, then they'd only have to make two or three US parts.

    Seems a no-brainer for Springfield to import these as semiautos for the US civ market.
