    My belt is a Shellback Tactical I picked up on the cheap somewhere. The build quality, nylon and cobra buckle are good, it’s just not super stiff. I don’t believe it has a stiffener and there are no extra stitch lines, just the double layer nylon and perimeter stitching. It’s not bad in my rig, I’m just wondering if a stiffer belt would improve anything. What is nice is it’s a little more flexible and broken in.

    @outkast

    How do you like the Frank Procter holster hanger mount? I just ordered one today just curious if you had any feedback.

    Probably going to order a safariland mid ride ubl as well to compare, but the Procter will fit the 1.5'' belt it will be attached to better because they offer that size. It also looks like the design keeps the gun a little further from your body

    That's exactly right, the Proctor mount is sized for smaller belts so there's no vertical slip. It sits just a little bit higher than the UBL Mid Ride but pushes the grip a good amount further away from the body. I'm on the fence with whether I like it or not. I'm thinking about modifying the mid ride UBL to work better with my 1.5" belt and sticking with that, or modifying the Proctor hanger to reduce the offset some.

    Yeah I have seen people use the 2" ubl mid with zip ties around the belt and through the top slit in it to secure. Prob works ok. I will try that and also a qls or t spacer to offset it a little bit

    This setup is unbelievably comfortable. Almost feels like I am not wearing one at all.
