Thanks. The holster is a Safariland 7TS with the Mid-Ride UBL.
Just got and installed buy mid ride ubl for my belt. it places the holster at a can't that places the gun barrel pointing back toward my thigh. does yours do that too and if so how do I fix that?

I like them alot. I put itw g-hooks on them, cut the plastic clips off the loop of the belt, now I can quickly take the suspenders off if I want to. I still have and really like this rig, lately I've been using this ronin setup though.

This is exactly what I'm looking for, something simple and doesn't make me look like a mall ninja when I go to class.

As an aside; is that a BCM rifle?

    .....VERY nice rifle.

Everyone going to class with battle gear and no prior military experience looks like a mall ninja

Perhaps, but being up front about it is better than trying to fake it. Battle gear is just practically useful gear for hauling mags, guns, and other gear. It still helps civilian shooters.

Most do, yes. I think that's because they're usually going for a "look" rather than practically addressing what they actually need on the line at a pistol or rifle instruction course. I see guys at these courses with all kinds of really cool (and useless) doo-dads attached to their belt...IFAK (complete with blood-type patch), Leatherman, Admin pouch, big honkin' knife. That's fine if the shooter is training like he fights, but we're more often talking dentists and accountants.
