What's the weight of the entire system with the barrel nut? How's the overall profile? OD/ID measurements?

I cannot say on the weight of the handguard system. I just measured the OD and it is 1 11/16" and the ID is approximately 1 9/16". The overall profile is nice. Much slimmer and lighter than the Picatinny-railed version. I much prefer this over the old version.

BTW, this build also has a LaRue Tactical 16" PredatAR barrel, LaRue Tactical low profile gas block, and LaRue Tactical gas tube. I really like these barrels. They are lightweight and shoot great.

Interesting. If Geissele doesn't make a 10" SMR I may have to go back to Larue.

Guys, the new LAT and SAT handguards are priced at $10 per inch. You cannot beat that for the kind of quality these handguards have.

Funny that's what I was just thinking when I saw the price of $132 for that rail. I really, really, don't need another AR, but if I find myself building a 11.5 Pistol, this rail would be an excellent option.
