SF Warden- viability of idea (vox/keymo to socom mount)

Im thinking of getting a surefire warden, cutting the mount off and threading it to make it a socom-to-1.375-24 adapter.

Anyone know if its feasible? Is there enough material on a warden to do this?

    ——————-
    Reason:
    I have a socom 556mini
I have a permed socom mount on a ‘full length’ rifle
Im looking for a 308 can to go on this full length gun, a precision bolt 6.5, and an ak (7.62x39).

300sps is longer & heavier than I want.
    Love the mini I have.

Looking at a vox s or other ‘s’ type 308 can (not k).

Should I build/buy another precision-ish upper instead with keymo?

Final goal is to have a short an full length rifle for the socom and a full length upper that will accept the 308 can.
