A FOID is required to purchase or possess a Stun Gun or Taser. This is the next restriction that needs to be struck down by the courts.

The FOID in and of its self was declared unconstitutional last year. The AG appealed and the state Supreme court agreed to hear the case. Illinois Carry and Illinois State Rifle Association are funding the suit, with Attorney David Sagle at the helm. Either way the illinois supreme court decides, I see this going to scotus.
