CZ75, then also buy the 22LR Kadet conversion kit for it. Shoot the heck out of it and have FUN! Those Kadet kits are amazingly accurate! That’ll give you a ton of range time on that same grip/trigger. My scores in 22Bullseye shooting one is but mere points behind those of more ‘fancy’ pistols, e.g., S&W 41 etc.

Then buy a Kel-Tec Sub2000 carbine w/ Sig mag release, as they allow the CZ75B high cap mags to work in them perfectly. Then for HD you’d have a carbine & pistol w/ same mag use on both platforms.

Given that 10-shots are a group and 5-shots may be a favorable trend ... know that just one good 3-shot group can make you an instant internet superstar!

Nice gun and I wouldn't disparage someone who owns one, but Dang, $2,900? DANG.

Well, you could always get a Hudson H9 for cheap if price is an issue...

Have you considered a 1911 platform pistol? The Colt Competiton model is a nice pistol
    for the money.

I like Hi Powers due to feeling slightly better, but going to vote CZ75 for being almost as good on feel, probably more durable, and suspect more support in coming years since FN discontinued/current copies are Turkish. If the mention from the FEG member of FEG getting back in to the Hi Power comes true that latter caveat may be negated.

    Double action, go Beretta 92.

Get: Beretta- Well made, easily slicked up trigger, oodles of parts. Get one with a dovetail slide. Replace plastic with metal.

CZ-75- Browning Hi Power 2.0 essentially. Great trigger. point and click. has a few quirks but nothing bad at all. Even a stock 75B is good. I like the 97.

Makarov: surprisingly fun and handy. dont pay too much for one. Like no more than 250.

    DO NOT GET:
    Anything else especially sig.

Makarovs are great. Very reliable. Had a couple twenty-five years ago. Outshot even Walther PPK's that cost three times as much.
