What barrel is closest to a 14.5" SOCOM but mid-length gas?

If you're specifically looking for mid-length, another option could be a Green Mountain 14.5" http://www.gmriflebarrel.com/gm-m19-...6mm-midlength/
It's a medium profile and fairly heavy (1.75lb) like Colt Socom/Noveske. Should be a good quality coming from GM especially for the price.

Damn, I just got the Hodge barrel today and it looks almost exactly like that GM barrel. Like I mean they could be twins, except for the HUGE difference in price! Not sure how it's ported of course.

Thanks for the heads-up, and indeed that barrel profile looks VERY similar to the Hodge. It's just the chrome lined vs. QPQ thing......sorry, I haven't "crossed over" yet. Not sure I ever will.
