My Series 80 Govt. Very nice weapon, made when Colt still cared.
The one I carried back in my EP days. It's a parts-bin build and nothing special, but its sentimental value is IMMENSE and IRREPLACEABLE. Besides, I can always get more 80% frames after your back is turned...

Was curious what work you had done on your Valor? I have a couple Valors, have thought about send to someone to sweeten up the triggers a little.
Cylinder and slide fire control group, trigger job with a John Harrison trigger, Severns Hard Hat treatment, reliability package, and sights. Mine is an 08 and they didn’t quite have as nice of internals as the new ones so that’s why I had them replaced. I had all of the work done in 08 as well.
The trigger is the most crisp trigger I have ever felt. Not sure if Dave Severns is still working, but he is really good. He was a moderator on the 1911 forum a while back and did a lot of great write ups and head to head comparisons. Worth digging up and reading.
I only have one 1911, so...
If I could have any 1911, it'd be an Heirloom-tuned Colt O1918. I'd do a rail gun, but they wouldn't fit in my Sparks and Del Fatti gunleather....
