That Holosun 507c is pretty attractive. Cowan showed it to be durable, at least to being dropped. The reticle appeals to me greatly. I don’t normally mess with Chinese stuff if I can avoid it, but I’m going to have to try one out.

Yea I hear ya on the Chinese stuff but it seems like a heck of sight & its priced right. Yes, I watched Arron's vid also, he basically treats every RDS like crap & drops them as many times as they will take it ! I paid a fair price for my 507c and feel I will be happy with it once I get it mounted up! Will update as time goes on. More range trips with my 07/RMR this week for sure, should be fun !

That’s going to be my next micro red dot I purchase, wanna personally compare it to the point pro and rmr
I bought one and a mount for my G-33 but never put it on. Now I have put XS Big Dot's on it so maybe I'll try it on a Taurus PT-111 G2C or something.
It seems that the preferred optic is the Trijicon RMR06. Does anyone have any insight on the Trijicon SRO?
Also, what are the benefits of the Aimpoint ACRO over the RMR? It appears that it is much bigger...

Try putting a piece of masking tape on the objective side window and then practicing with the optic that way for awhile. This should help break the engrained desire to look for the iron sights. It should also help with target focus and bringing the dot into the line of sight during presentation and after recoil. That's assuming you shoot both eyes open.
Quite simple and works as a good training method. Give it a try if you're having some trouble getting used to the dot.

“The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles."
I do something similar to this. I use a Laserlyte training target in a pretty dimly lit room. It’s bright enough that you can see the major details of the room and the target is easily seen, but I would have to activate my wml if I wanted to be able to see my iron sights. Target focus and consistency in presentation are key.
