The truth can only offend those who live a lie.
Compared to what?
If you eat a ton of carbs, the fiber probably does help make the carbs less harmful.
If you do not eat carbs, then all the fiber does is make you shit and fart a lot.
Again, what diet were they eating? On a Standard American Diet, or some sort of veg-gobbling carby diet, then yes, probably.
Human beings thrived for tens of thousands of years on a diet consisting almost solely of meat, before agriculture was even invented.
No, that’s not necessarily true. From what I’ve read, Early man was an opportunist and omnivore. And ate a LOT of plants, and along with fruits and berries in season, ate lots of roots, grasses, and leaves.
There was also a lot of fasting periods, though not by choice..which studies are showing, turn on stem cells and induce healing in the body.
This BS about carbs being bad is so crazy...bad carbs are bad...refined carbs. There isn’t anything wrong with organic legumes, grains, vegetables, or potatoes, until you smother them with butter, salt, and refined sugars.
