Basic necessities for survival, that's it. Not a damn thing more. Always remember, we did not ask them to come here and they are unwanted, including their damn kids.

Lucky you... if nominated, I probably wouldn't even LIVE long enough to start the confirmation process before some Leftist assbag decided to Rooftop Recall.

This is what we used to do:

Fort Chaffee served as a primary center for housing refugees three times; from 1975 to 1976 it was a processing center for refugees from Southeast Asia and held Vietnamese and Cambodian refugees after the Vietnam and Cambodia wars. The facility processed 50,809 refugees of the Vietnam War, giving them medical screenings, matching them with sponsors, and arranging for their resettlement in the United States. Among notable children of refugees born at Fort Chaffee was Dat Nguyen, who would later become an All-American linebacker at Texas A&M University and play professionally for the Dallas Cowboys.

In 1980, Fort Chaffee became a Cuban refugee resettlement center, holding 19,000 Cubans after the Mariel boatlift and briefly making the camp the 11th largest city in Arkansas. The Cubans were brought to the fort in early May, and there were delays in processing and resettlement caused by "bureaucratic setbacks and rumors (later prove true by refugee actions described herewith) that Chaffee was full of Cuban criminals released from prison by Fidel Castro."[2] On Sunday, June 1, the detainees rioted, destroying four barracks and fighting with State Police officers and National Guardsmen.[2] Sixty-two refugees were injured and 46 others were arrested.[2] After the riots, the previously unsecured facility was "turned into a prison, encircled with miles of concertina wire and 2,000 heavily-armed federal troops."[2] The riot was a major issue in Frank D. White's victory over Governor Bill Clinton in the November 1980 gubernatorial election.[2] Over two years, Fort Chaffee processed 25,390 Cuban refugees.[3]

Yeah, I've heard you mention Chaffee before. Good idea, I'm all for it. Just need to hold ALL of them some-damn-where, not just let them loose. Basically this is unfettered, unchecked ILLEGAL immigration. We are hamstringed by our own laws, although a time limit on detention hasn't been clarified here or with Google searches. Like I've said before a half-dozen times, if this magical 2 week time limit on detention isn't actually part of the asylum law then it is some asshole judge's dictate. They cannot make law. Trump should ignore it and let it go to SCOTUS (assuming it isn't verbatim part of the asylum law).

I remember the tent cities under the I-95 overpass in Miami following the Mariel boat lift.

I saw a headline that the 'families' aren't matching up with DNA....color me surprised....
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

Nailed it. Hire ex-sheriff Joe Arpaio to handle the immigrant crisis and THERE WILL BE NO IMMIGRANT CRISIS.

Because the crime rate in Maricopa county dropped below the national average at any point during his tenure as Sheriff?

Study after study after study shows that harsh penalties do little. Would you risk living in a tent city if it meant a 1000x increase in living standards for your family?

Stop paying lazy Americans to not work. Get rid of the minimum wage. Come up with sensible drug policy. These alone would drop the demand for labor so significantly that the market would address 95% of the problem, with zero enforcement mechanisms required.

They are finding the same children on repeated crossings...pathetic situation. The McAllen 'kennel' went on lockdown for 24 hours to combat the flu epidemic breakout & hopefully got the sick separated.
