Star Wars - Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker

So we have a name. And a teaser-trailer.

And obviously Jar-Jar Abrams and his Mystery Box are back at work.

Going to completely pass on this nonsense and just rewatch the reviews from RLM.

It's hard to be a ACLU hating, philosophically Libertarian, socially liberal, fiscally conservative, scientifically grounded, agnostic, porn admiring gun owner who believes in self determination.

Billy Dee Williams as old Lando is back and so is Palpatine!

So with the title we are lead to believe that Rey is in fact a Skywalker?

Ehh, I lost interest when I watched Episode 7 of which I cannot even remember the name. And I am a guy who watched Star Wars (the original) in a theater as a kid and still have all my action figures in a box in the closet. The only post Return of the Jedi movie worth anything is Rogue One. IMHO.

I think "Skywalker" becomes an organization. Balanced force users.

As much as Disney has ruined the Star Wars franchise, as terrible as the last movie was, knowing that episode 7 was just a poorly regurgitated Episode IV.... I'm still going to go see it because light sabers and shit.

Then I'll complain about how terrible it was.

The best thing about the trailer? The word:

    End
The Second Amendment ACKNOWLEDGES our right to own and bear arms that are in common use that can be used for lawful purposes. The arms can be restricted ONLY if subject to historical analogue from the founding era or is dangerous (unsafe) AND unusual.

    It's that simple.

This is pretty much where I'm at with the franchise too.

I'll see it being it's the last star wars flick. The original trilogy set the bar that can't be touched. Rogue One was good.
