In no way do I make any money from anyone related to the firearms industry.

We all have our own battles in life to fight.

Some choose to face it head on.

Some choose to face it head on with an M16A1 clone.

I pulled the trigger on one yesterday. $899.

It went on additional 10% off today.

I just emailed Brownell to see if they would honor the 10% since the rifle hasn't shipped yet.

Edit: And no, I'm not a miserable human being whose only solace in life is to spend money on unnecessary stuff. I have always like the original M16A1. It was the first AR I ever fired, full auto to boot. But they always wanted too much for the originals. So I looked at the Windham and the Brownell.

Trigger their pricing schedule that works like an adjustable rate mortgage.

Damn, wish they offered it with the 1:7 twist as an option.

I have a little trepidation about this rifle. I don't know who really made the parts. To my knowledge, Brownell has never said. For all I know, it could be ultimate bottom-barrel stuff. But I decided to take a chance rather than wait for the $2500? limited edition? Colt, whenever that comes out, after the election?
