    Agree totally with LSHD and RHINOSW. We're not driving Ferrari's or flying fighter jets here. These are supposed to be boringly reliable tools that are supposed to go bang when we pull the trigger.

    Yep. Not to sound arrogant or dismissive about what people can afford or not, but we are talking about a $900 gun, nothing more than a mechanical device/tool.

    To me, shooting a Colt AR is like shooting a Glock pistol. It just works, every single time. Sexy? Hardly, but when it has to go bang, few better choices.
