That is why I didnt like the cut out when I handled the G19 I was looking at. Sticking with my Gen4 G19.

Duck Tape can't fix stupid but it sure muffles the sound!
Traded my 19Gen5 for a 26Gen5. I could not stand the cutout. I doesn't bother me on the 17Gen5.
The cutout bothers me a hell of a lot less than the dreaded "Glock knuckle" that causes a huge callus on my second finger where it contacts under the trigger guard AND my trigger finger develops one as well wear it rubs the frame. You'd think after all these years, they'd smooth down those areas.
I have the Pierce mag floorplates for my G19.5
I found a G19.5 MOS lower on Gunbroker to replace my G19 Cutout Gen 5

If I agreed with you, we'd both be wrong.
The last thing I want to do is hurt you,
but it's still on my list.
I talked to a Glock Rep at the Glock Exhibit/booth at the NRA Show, and he said the standard (non MOS with no grip frame cutout) Gen 5 G19’s will be gradually phased in, in the coming months. He did not specify how many months that would be, but that it would be happening. If I were to guess, I would be really surprised If we did not see standard (non MOS) G19’s in the next 2-6 months.

I was hoping someone made something that would screw into the grip plug, maybe a magwell or something. I guess the best option is an MOS frame or a p80.
SLR rifleworks makes a magwell.
How is the Gen 5 cutout different than the Gen 2 cut out?
And is there something about the Pearce floor plate not evident in the picture that keeps it from being a pinch point?
