Obviously no one who voted for anything other than 3:00 or 9:00. The hot trend of tucking the light up at 1:30 and 10:30 seems cool if you’re not putting a beam up top.

Right handed. 10:30/11:00 position for left thumb activation

I have one upper set up that way (I'm left handed) - DBAL at 12 o'clock, Surefire SR07-D-IT tape switch at 1:30, and Scout light at 10 (on Ariska mount). The dual tape switch allows me to activate both the DBAL and Scout light.

For me the handguard length dictates the light position.

With an IR system at 12, my light is at 1 o'clock.

On one rifle I have angled irons going to the right, so on that one the light is at 11 o'clock.

I see a few people running on the lower 45, which I just don't understand.

Lots of dudes tuck it in as tight as possible just above the 3 or 9, and I know a bunch of military guys who run it low at the 7:30/4:30.
