I got one right after they came out. It weighs 5.6 oz's with it's mount on my scale. It works fine with magnifiers and *for me* has a nice sharp, defined 2 min dot, circle dot or circle reticle and it's larger size window size is quick to use. We shall see how it does going forward, but so far no issues or real complaints about it at all. I will be using the AEMS with a Kinetic Development QD mount (which together is the same height as the Unity Tactical FAST magnifier mount) on my 11.5" barreled rifle. They also used larger screws on the battery compartment door/ tray. Tactical Development ( see the link below) along with other companies will be releasing lower and higher mounts for it in the not to distant future. Here are a few vid reviews of it.

The Holosun AEMS is one I would like to try. Looking forward to opinions of those that own one.

I looked at one at a gun show, usually I have astigmatism problems with my 503 acss and my 403 holosun but this one is crisp.

Thanks, I too suffer from the "astigmatism issue" so that kind of "feedback" is useful to me. Good review and "so far so good". Keep it coming. Thanks
BTW I'm considering the AEMS and there TI magnifier on a Rattler PDW set up.

Just curious...What is the reason for such high mounts?
Im not hating on it, I have never seen such a high mount.

Unity FAST mounts use a 2.24" as their standard for Aimpoint Micros, Trijicon MRO, EoTech & their associated magnifier mounts and 2.05" for their LPVO & ACOG mounts. The extra height aids in a heads-up shooting position along with NODs or gas mask.
