John Hancock was part of a transnational criminal conspiracy to smuggle contraband and avoid taxes. Point is, giving the finger to "the man" is patriotic and as American as apple pie, not the current boot licking, luv-it-or-leave-it, tread harder daddy variety. If you're not constantly questioning and challenging authority what kind of American are you really?

The kind that makes an excellent Tory, loses the war, and flees to Canada.

I see ZERO wrong with giving the finger to "the man" but you only do that when the man is trying to screw you over, as was happening in 1776.

While there are elements within our government trying to do that today as well, (the entire democrat party, and a few RINOs) there are also elements within our government attempting to preserve the original good parts of America, so it does little good to talk bad about America.

The country is a good one. (The very best) So yes... love it, or leave it... or fix it... but don't talk like it's a hate filled place. (unless you're a democrat, antifa, blm type) It's ideals are sound. It is only some elements within it attempting to gain (abuse) power that need to be stopped.

I made it the banner for my VFW's page. Had to change the spacing on the text though.

The second highest form of patriotism is dissension, The first is to serve honorably in the military so everyone can continue to have the right to say **** the man.
