What is the most reliable out of the box 9mm carbine / SBR / Braced pistol?

For under $1000 not including optic.

    How about an imaginative scenario?

-Like a video game, you start with your choice of 9mm pistol.

-You only have 124 gr 9mm JHP ammo and 10 top quality mags for the weapon.

-You are to pick one of the offered 9mm carbines / SBR's and mount your choice of optic on it.

-You are given 2 hours and 250 rds to practice and zero on a 50 yd range.

-Then you'll be "bugging out" out of the city (which is in chaos...or something) by car, with "others" to a small town the next day. (No time to order parts)

-If the roads are blocked or your vehicle disabled you'll have to hike the rest of the way with your "group". You may have to hold up somewhere and repel bad guys or whatever.

-The journey is 10 miles. It's hot.

What 9mm carbine / SBR do you choose?

I'd want the most reliable one. I'm not exactly sure which one that would be.

Of these, I've had the Cx4. It was perfectly reliable. I've fired the Sub2000 and didn't have problems. But plenty of others have. The Ar9's I've fired didn't run perfectly, and many varieties of them aren't 100% reliable. I'd like a 9mm carbine but not sure which to get so I'm getting input.

I'd pick the Draco NAK9 with Glock mags, SBA3 brace, and an Aimpoint T1.

I saw one review where the Draco NAK9 was damaging Beretta mag lips when inserted on a closed bolt. (As in, it ruined the mag)
Is that why you reccomend the Glock mag version?
Also, does that gun have a last round bolt hold-open?
    Will it feed JHP's?

My .02˘. This is based off of the fact that I have only ever had a Kel-Tec S2K and a PSA AR-9 (braced pistol version). For the situation you mention, in 9mm, I would go with my PSA AR-9. I have put a lot of rounds through it (under a 1,000 though). It has been completely reliable. It has a 10.5" barrel and runs Glock mags, even G26 size. In regard to the S2K, I didn't have any issues with it but did not like shooting it. The pros of the AR-9 (for me), outweighed the pros of the S2K. If you opened up 38/357 I might opt for a lever gun over the AR-9. Might.

Never played Wolfenstein 3D, but loved Duke Nukem! I can't think of any of the 10 or so weapons I didn't like! If I had give one up, though, it would be the "Microwave Expander".

I'd rather have an MP5 of some variety, but if I couldn't, I'd be comfortable enough with a CZ.

    CZ Scorpion, pistol or carbine.

Tons of optional modifications available, and there’s a secondary market on Reddit if you’re looking to upgrade specific parts.
