sketchy Colt expanse lower

So about 3 years ago I picked up one the pseudo Colt's as beater gun. It's been a decent shooter, but I am about to gut it and rebuild project on the lower, M4gery on a fake lower.......

Any known issues with the lowers?

I think it's one of the Texas made lowers CE prefixed SN, I've tried various known spec parts in it and everything goes in smoothly.

FIL picked one up and was happy to have a real "Colt" Expanese - no I didn't burst his bubble; he's a competent pistol / rifle shooter but for him it is fine.

The lower looks fine / in spec, he's removed the trigger / grip and done work down there with no reported issues - so likely you'll be fine.
