    Maybe not 'stupid', but definitely not something everyone would want - and to imply that it is, I would consider that idea as 'stupid.

    I looked at pictures today. The M5B is a chunky little beast that gives up a lot of the compactness of the M5 form factor to get the knob guards. I would probably lean more towards putting them on SAWS and whatnot. It would be awesome at quick adjustments when laying down bursts at long distances.

    DANG, baby got BACK.

    I see the utility for narrow applications, but most users will be better served with a RDS like the T-2/CompM5/M5S or a LPVO, rather than the M5B.

    Obviously the adjustment caps are a weak point, hence the need for the yuge metal wings to protect them.
