You left some info out - which base did you have on the Romeo - measuring the one I have sitting on the bench with a tape measure the low-mount would place the Romeo dot about .75" above the carrying handle mount; the co-witness mount about 1.5" above.
Assuming you are using a see through rail, that probably adds .5 inch to the height of the sights.
Call it close to either 1.25" or 2.00" higher.
If you were shooting at 25 off a bench or a barricade, vertical shift with either Romeo base should be noticed on a zeroing type target; standing unsupported, probably not. At 50 to 100 with a red dot, not so much IMO.
I'm more surprised that it lined up acceptably windage wise.

Patriotism means to stand by the country. It does not mean to stand by the President... - Theodore Roosevelt, Lincoln and Free Speech, Metropolitan Magazine, Volume 47, Number 6, May 1918.
Every Communist must grasp the truth. Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun. Our principle is that the Party commands the gun, and the gun must never be allowed to command the Party Mao Zedong, 6 November, 1938 - speech to the Communist Patry of China's sixth Central Committee
