Are you referring to the class 1 mawl or the full power version?

Newcon Optik is from Canada. You can buy their lasers on New Egg, BHP Photo, eBay, etc...
But they can be expensive. Roughly the same as the telephone price from TNVC for a DBAL-A4v2.
MAWL C1+ reviews are on YouTube and TOS, you should check those out.
Do go check out the reviews of the Perst-3 though. It's damn impressive.
Also, follow Brolis Laser on Instagram.

I Checked out the perst 3 and i think it may be the way to go. The specs on it seem to be on par or better with the peq 15 laser and the Illuminator has way more power. Being able to adjust the power level of both on the tape switch should be sweet.
Is the MAWL civilian version better than the PEQ15 Full power RE: illuminators?
Full power if you have the option

He reposted it with more content. I watched it again this morning to see what changed.
He has long range footage now.

ABSOLUTELY especially in a CQB roll or in a structure. As mentioned its like turning a white light on in a dark room. Very even and smooth IR fill if you choose. What many seem to overlook about the MAWL is the switchology. No goofy bullshit wires or pressure pads to try and figure out where to locate. You have basically 5 on the fly at your finger tips (actually thumb) IR Laser/Illuminator settings and 1 long range IR laser only setting. The depth of the IR illumination acts just like Surefire in that it sees through or past or into if that makes sense.
I find in all honesty the full power PEQ15 laser too bright unless at great distance. The size and brightness of the bloom make it very hard to aim with. Based on the material or target you will in most cases need the illuminator on or additional IR light to knock it back so you can actually ID what the laser is on. The full power lightsaber IR laser does look cool and great in pictures though.
That pressure pad switch on the Perst looks all kind of bad for my personal liking. I dont have the rail space nor do I want to change my grip to go from IR to white light. This along with the overall performance is where the MAWL wins.
