5.45x39 AK pistols?

I am aware that a 5.45x39 AK pistol sample sent to ATF was the excuse for banning 7N6 importation. However, since that is water under the bridge I can't see why there shouldn't be 5.45x39 pistols. Yet, i can only find one...

5.45 is dying without 7n6. Its phenomenal round for SBRs because it doesn't need velocity to do its damage. I know several people that built one be it an SBR or pistol with a brace. Seems like most new AK pistol development is in 556.
