They also sell more than all other manufacturers combined. Measuring complaints by how many people that post on the internet is a terrible metric. I’ve yet to meet another shooter on a range that has even heard of M4C.

Well, PSA is a meme brand so it’s fitting I suppose.

Exactly. Good firing pins are cheap.

yep. And they account for a good percentage of improperly assembled trash and parts on the market.

OP if you contact me by PM I would be happy to send you a couple firing pins as I am involved in the manufacturing of to print MIL spec M16 firing pins. I believe the issue is related to material type and heat treat process or lack there of. These are very critical areas and processes and in most cases not followed by most. Straightness is also an issue and a spec that is called out that most firing pins will not pass because its hard to measure and many so called rifle manufactures simply dont have the equipment to confirm or take the time to insure what they are buying.

Honestly if its cheap or what one might call a really good value (cheap$$$) then you can pretty much assume some corners have been cut. Is that good enough? Only you can decide and know many companies think on the inside about just how many rounds is "our" customer going to shoot a week, a month and a year for how many years. Yup that's good enough and worth the savings and we can replace the defective parts by playing the odds. If you need an example just look at your favorite value Red Dot company offering a lifetime warranty with goods made in China. I say company and not manufacture for a reason.

I have spare firing pins, cams, extractors and extractor springs, firing pin retainers, etc. Also have few oops kits for the lower receiver as well.

Thank you. I just bought a couple FP from a top vendor and honestly can see a big difference on it. Is even a tiny bit heavier.
