    Latest Acquisitions via Apeiron Bladeworks

    .
Made of .20 thick RWL34 steel, approx 8" TL, 4" blade. Fit finish/attention to details is outstanding. Looks good, feels good. It's a nice EDC size, very flat, but able to be legit hard use blade as needed. If you're going to Blade Show, look for his table 14K. He makes a lot of unique quality knives.

Very nice! Never got to play with a RWL34 steel blade, but I read it is similar to CPM-154 which doesn't hold an edge like the newer powdered metals do but can take a very keen edge and sharpens a lot easier.

They are equivalent as I understand it, but both are powdered metals of course. RWL34 is Damasteel's answer to CPM-154. Many users and smiths feel CPM-154 is one of the best balanced overall steels.

It has a high stabby factor to be sure, but should be a decent slicer, and at .20" thick, not going to snap if used in a utility role either.
