Strong stuff. Like other "hot" Underwood ammo's I've tried there were no signs of over-pressure. Unfortunately, unlike other Underwood loads I had three failures to feed out of about 30 rounds. (bullet went high) I have not fired ANY other JHP .380 loads from this gun so I can't say if it was the ammo or the just the gun.

I'm sure this ammo would beat-up an aluminum framed blowback gun even more than regular .380 ammo seems too. Use sparingly. Might be a good round to leave in the chamber. In fact I tested about ten rounds this way. (First shot Underwood, the rest FMJ) and didn't have any problems.

I also fired three rounds into packed mud. Found two, they expanded as much as an XTP will, sectional density would be poor, however. But they were movin' out for a standard-weight .380 load!
