There’s a pic from Vietnam of a SEAL with a flashlight taped to a Stoner lol. Just trying to stay “period correct”. Which is why I want the custom barrel

What is period correct about the barrel you are wanting? What bearing does a flashlight taped to a Stoner 63 have to do with what you are wanting to build? I am confused.

I’m starting to question if you were a GT waiver

I will say that when it comes to retro/vintage ARs, I am pretty well-versed, though not an expert by any means. This is why what your looking to do has me perplexed. It does not appear to be vintage or retro in nature and certainly not a clone of any military M16.

Let me break out the sock puppets for you my Fellow Belleau Woodsman.

I want to re-barrel my Colt reissue with a heavier barrel that has a tighter twist so it will be wicked accurate. But I want to mimic all the markings so unless you pick it up, you won’t be able to tell the difference.

If you can’t understand that, I can’t help you and this shouldn’t have gone on for two pages.

This is the first time you have fully explained yourself and this venture. Again, good luck.
