I have watched a lot of Beretta 1301's in a lot of shotgun classes. They run. They are also less expensive, if that is a consideration.

They cycle faster, and seem to be less ammo-sensitive than the M4's I have watched. They are lighter, and I really like the balance better on the 1301 as well.

I own a Benelli M2, which pretty much just sits in the safe. The 1301 gets run, a lot, and run hard. I just add lube and ammo.

I supposed some day I should clean it.......

I'd go with the 1301 and add some Aridus goodness.

Mine came with a Mesa Tactical Urbino stock, with the raised cheek piece and pistol grip. I used one of those very nice Aridus adapters, and put on a Magpul SGA stock.

I will dig out some pics. I think I put them in another thread, let me check.

I used the half-ring sight on the CROM, with an Aimpoint H-1. The 4 MOA dot is the perfect size for a shotgun, in my opinion.

I do like the Benelli shotguns, I have many. The M2 is GTG. Both are supposed to be god guns, but Benelli have never failed me.
